Composition:
A District Consumer Forum typically consists of three members:
- President: A person who is or has been a District Judge or is qualified to be one.
- Two Other Members: These members should possess the following qualifications:
- Age: Not less than 35 years
- Education: A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in fields such as economics, law, commerce, accountancy, industry, public affairs, or administration.

- Selection Process: The State Government appoints members of District Consumer Forums based on the recommendations of a selection committee.
