- Online Referral of Child (Normal Health Status):
- PAPs are advised to refer to the procedure outlined in the provided link for online referral of children with normal health status based on their seniority.
- Direct Reservation of Child (Normal Health Status):
- PAPs, including Resident Indians (RI), Non-Resident Indians (NRI), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), have the option for direct reservation of children with normal health status from the ‘7 days for RI/NRI/OCI PAPs’ tab, regardless of their seniority.
- Immediate Placement Tab:
- PAPs can directly reserve children with normal health status from the ‘Immediate Placement’ tab, irrespective of their seniority.
- Reservation of Children with Special Needs:
- PAPs have the option for direct reservation of children with special needs from the ‘Special Needs Children’ tab, regardless of their seniority.
Documents to be Uploaded Within 30 Days of Registration on CARINGS Portal: As per Schedule VI Part-1 of Adoption Regulations 2022, the following documents are required to be uploaded within 30 days from the date of registration on the CARINGS Portal:
(i). Current family photograph or photograph of the person adopting a child.
(ii). Proof of Identity (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter Card, Driving License) and PAN Card (if applicable)
(iii). Birth certificate or Proof of date of birth of the parents (In the case of a married couple, upload the applicant’s respective birth certificates).
(iv). Proof of residence (Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, Passport, Current Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill).
(v). Proof of income of the last year (Salary Slip, Income Certificate issued by Govt. department, Income Tax Return).
(vi). Medical Certificate certifying that the PAPs do not suffer from any chronic contagious or fatal disease and are fit to adopt.
(vii). Marital Status Documentation (Marriage Certificate, Divorce Decree, Declaration from the competent court, or Death certificate of spouse).
(viii). Undertaking from the relative in the case of single prospective adoptive parents (if applicable). (ix). Consent of the older child or children in the adoptive family.
(x). In case of any changes in preference related to the gender of the child, PAPs are required to update their preference accordingly.
